There are seven schools under Mid-America Christian University. These schools are School of Business, School of General Education, School of Ministry, School of Behavioral Science, School of English, School of Music, and School of Teacher Education. The school of Business offers degrees in Multidisciplinary – Business, Marketing, and Business Administration while the School of General Education offers degrees in Social Sciences and History, Social Sciences, Multidisciplinary Mathematics, Mathematics, and Associate in Arts. Under the School of Ministry you have degrees in Specialized Ministries Youth Ministry, Specialized Ministries World Missions and Urban Evangelism, Specialized Ministries Pastoral Care, Specialized Ministries Music and Worship Ministry, Specialized Ministries Family Life Ministry, Specialized Ministries Christian Education Ministry, Specialized Ministries, Multidisciplinary Christian Ministries, Multidisciplinary Bible/Theology and Music, Multidisciplinary Bible/Theology and Business, Bible/Theology with Emphasis in Pastoral Care, and Bible/Theology and the School of Behavioral Science offers degrees in Multidisciplinary – Behavioral Science and Behavioral Science. The School of English offers degrees in Multidisciplinary English and English while the School of Music offers degrees in Music Performance as well as in Music and Worship Ministry.
The School of Teacher Education offers degrees in Teacher Education Secondary Social Studies Education, Teacher Education Secondary Math Education, Teacher Education Secondary English Education, Teacher Education Elementary Education, Teacher Education Elementary and Secondary Vocal Music Education, and Teacher Education. The Mid-America Christian University has a mission not only provide education to students, but do so in a Christian environment. By doing so, they help students lead successful lives under the guidance of Christ. The University offers degrees that enable students to become pastors in churches.
They also have degrees that enable students to take up job as teachers in schools both in elementary and secondary schools. The subjects these students can teach are Social Studies, Math, English and Vocal Music. There are courses in Mid-America Christian University that enable students to pursue higher degrees in Mathematics. The degree in English is tailor made to suit the student requirements.
